OBITUARY
Larry Don Turner, 61, of Laguna Park, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006. Funeral
services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, in the Clifton Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial in the Clifton Cemetery. Larry was born on Aug. 11, 1944, in Clifton, to
parents Charlie and Vera Turner. He graduated from Carrollton High School in
1962. He married Charlotte Mathews on Jan. 17, 1964. They moved to Laguna Park
in 1968, where they were in the auto repair business with his parents until Vera
and Charlie retired. After that, Larry and Charlotte ran Turner Automotive until
Larry's illness and closed the shop in Nov. 2004. Larry was Past Master of the
Clifton Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of West Shore Fire Dept. for 30
years. He enjoyed hunting and working with his hands around the house. He was
preceded in death by his brother, Bill; his father, Charlie; and his
grandparents, Carl and Belle Remington, and Pelly and Lottie Turner. Larry is
survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Patty Turner and Cindy Farmer and
husband, Michael Farmer; granddaughters, Rohen and Bronwyn Turner, and Brianna
and Rachael Farmer; and his mother, Vera Turner. Pallbearers are Kirk Bonner,
Cody Degges, Michael Dorsey, Dennis Poe, Jeff Schaffner and Patty Turner.
Honorary pallbearers are Wade Degges, Michael Farmer, Randy Sechrist and Terry
Sechrist. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Heart, P.O. Box 2081, Whitney,
