WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT

Turner - McCarroll Vows Repeated

Miss Helen Jean McCarroll became the bride of Robert Leon Turner Jr. of Carrollton Saturday evening in Central Christian Church of Dallas. Dr. E. C. Rowand Jr. officiated.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. John R. McCarroll of 1013 North Fifty-seventh Street. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. R. L. Turner of Carrollton and the late Mr. Turner.
The bride chose a formal gown of ivory satin organza. A bertha collar of alencon lace defined the empire line of the gown which featured a scalloped neckline and short sleeves. The detachable alencon-framed watteau train unfolded from a back yoke and fell to cathedral length. Her bouffant veil of silk English illusion fell in tiers from a crown of pearls and alencon lace. She carried white roses.
Maid of honor was Miss Susan Kap McCarroll, sister of the bride.  Bridesmaids were Miss Patsy Gumfory of Cleburne and Miss Jean Burden of Dallas. They wore empire gowns of pink bonded crepe with lace bodices. Their head pieces were satin bows and cabcage roses with pink veils. Each carried a bouquet of pink roses ad daisies.
Best man was Thomas Jackson Turner, brother of the bride-groom. John Charles Turner, brother of the bride-groom, and Phil Mack of McKinney were groomsmen. John Richard McCarroll Jr., brother of the bride and  James Tinsley of McKinney were the candle lighters.
Flower girl was Debbie Mak (?) of Santa Anna, Calif.
The music was presented by Miss Karen Allums of Denton. She sang "Entreat Me Not to Leave Thee" and "The Wedding Prayer."  Marvin Schaible of Denton played "Oh Perfect Love" on the violin. The organist was Robert E. Poen.
Mrs. Turner graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas and in 1966 from North Texas State University in Denton. She is a teacher in Carrollton Farmers Branch Independent School District.
Mr. Turner graduated from Carrollton High School and is a senior at North Texas State University. The cuple will live in Denton.
