OBITUARY
 
VAN ZILE, , BARBARA ANN SCHUH Age 44 was called by our Lord to his Heavenly Home after a long battle with breast cancer on Thursday, January 18, 2007 in the loving arms of her husband, surrounded by family and friends at her home in Pinole, California. Born in Dallas, Texas, February 16, 1962, Barbara graduated Salutatorian from R. L. Turner high school in 1980 and the University of Texas with honors with a bachelor of business administration in 1983. She moved to California and worked as a self-employed accountant for 23 years. Barbara delighted in caring for her family, volunteering, and was a member of many PTA organizations, Albany Rotary Club, and St. Josephs Catholic Church in Pinole. Survived by her husband of 21 years, Thomas Van Zile; son, Bryan; daughter, Heather; parents, Alice V. and Frank J. Schuh of Plano; brothers Dwain Schuh and wife Kimberly of Austin, Texas. Michael Schuh and wife Wyn of Los Altos, CA. Barbara was buried at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette, CA. Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas, The Rev. Jonathan G. Austin officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
