OBITUARY

Ana Violante, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 14, 2018 in Carrollton, Texas at the age of 87. Ana was born on July 20, 1931 in Durango, Mexico to her parents, Eulalio Violante and Juana Castillo. She had very many passions in life. One thing Ana loved very much was her life on the farm and in the fields. She enjoyed working with her hands as she chopped and collected firewood, milked and herded cows, and picked corn to feed the chickens. Ana was known to her family as a very hard worker. Even when life was as hard as parched ground, her resilience and determination flowed into her family and her life like rain. Another joy Ana had in life was cooking for her friends and family. She loved to cook all sorts of food like chile rellenos, tamales, and enchiladas. Her favorite types of food were spicy foods. Ana’s tortillas were always the best! One of Ana’s greatest passions was her family. She loved her family so, so much. Occasionally, Ana would get angry with a grandchild or such, but she always had a good attitude regardless. She was a very happy person, outgoing, and had a wonderful heart. She blessed her family so much with her life and love. Ana’s true joy was found in her faith. She was a very devoted Catholic who prayed often for her loved ones. Ana Violante was a very wonderful woman who loved her family and her Lord very much.
