OBITUARY
 Judy
Walton
Thursday, February 2, 2023
Judy was born on November 26, 1949 in Dallas, Texas to Martin and Ardis
Seifert. She attended R.L. Turner High School graduating in 1964
[should be 1968]. Following high
school graduation she attended North Texas State University graduating
in 1972 with a BS in Biology. On July 15, 1972 she married David Walton.
Judy also attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO
graduating in 1976 with a MS in Biology.
Judy and David relocated back to Mountain Home in 1997 and built their
"forever home." Judy enjoyed crafting to include card making,
needlepoint, rubber stamping, and crocheting with her “girl” friends in
the local community.
In 2008-2009 she was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. After
numerous surgeries, she began an oral chemo therapy that occupied the
remainder of her life.
As she got more ill, she relocated to San Antonio, TX to be closer to
medical care and her family. On January 6, 2023 she was admitted to
hospice care and passed away on January 14th at 9:10 in the morning.
Her effervescent personality, beautiful smile, and loving attitude will
be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her pain is at an end – may she
rest in peace. |
