OBITUARY
In
Memory of
Jane Louise Warner
June 17, 1942 - August 5, 2014
Jane passed away peacefully on August 5, 2014 in Carrollton, surrounded
by her loving family.
Jane was born in Ottumwa Iowa on June 17, 1942 where she spent her
childhood years. She loved to joke that she and Radar O’Rielly, from the
show MASH, were from the same home town.
When just a teenager Jane’s folks moved to a farm close to Blakesburg
Iowa. She attended Blakesburg High School and Graduated in 1960. After
graduation she attended Ottumwa Beauty Academy and was working in the
cosmetology field when she married Gordon Warner in 1961.
Jane was very proud of her children and got great enjoyment out of
watching them grow and succeed. Her main focus, career and passion
centered on her family. Jane was 100% devoted to her family and was
greatly rewarded as she watched them become responsible, caring adults
and parents themselves.
In true Jane fashion, she did a lot of volunteer work assisting with
special needs children in the public schools. She loved these children,
and they in turned loved her. This was just another small part of Jane’s
love and devotion to others.
Jane also had quite a passion for gardening, spending many hours
watering and nurturing her garden. She also enjoyed ceramics, sewing and
bowling. She acquired many friends through her years of bowling and
established strong and everlasting bonds with them.
Survivors include Jane's loving husband of 53 years Gordon E. Warner,
three sons: Joseph Warner of Tucson, Arizona, Jason Warner of Fort
Worth, Texas and Jeffrey Warner of Carrollton, Texas, daughter Amanda
(Warner) Saganitso of Flagstaff Arizona and her sister Janet (Howarth)
Moore. Jane was blessed with ten grandchildren. |
