in Hurst. Service: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Joslin Diabetes Center (www.joslin.org/) in memory of Barry. Barry was born August 3, 1960, in Farmers Branch, Texas, the youngest of six children to Raymond O. Wells and Hazel (“Sally”) Wells. He graduated from R. L. Turner High School in Carrollton in 1978 and lived his entire life in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He spent his business career in the industrial coating, spray painting, silk screening and printing business. He was an account executive with W4 Graphics of Fort Worth at his death. He also was a long time employee of the UPS air freight division at DFW airport. Barry was part of a large extended family who loved him deeply and will miss him greatly. He was the sweetest, most gentle man and faced every challenge with dignity and a smile. A private person, he never complained nor became bitter, regardless the challenges life threw at him. He was proceeded in death by his parents. Survivors: He is survived by his son, PO1C Matthew Wells, USN and his wife Kristen and grandson Brody of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; his daughter Marjorie (“Maggie”) Wells of Austin, Texas; and his brothers and sisters and their families. |
