OBITUARY
 
L. Perry White, Jr.
Jan 15, 1946 - Apr 13, 2015

Services for L. Perry White Jr., 69, of Salado will be Monday, April 20, 2015 at Northside Baptist Church, Carrollton, TX at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Dallalio officiating. Interment will be at Hilltop Memorial Park following the service. Perry died on Monday, April 13, 2015 at his residence. L. Perry White Jr., was born to L. Perry White, Sr., and Fay Bradley White on January 15, 1946 in Mexico, Missouri. The family moved to Carrollton, Texas where he attended the Carrollton Elementary School, Dewitt Perry Junior High and R.L. Turner High School. After graduation, he attended North Texas State University in Denton. Perry married Linda Kaye Smith in 1968 at Northside Baptist Church. He worked for the Carrollton Police Department as a dispatcher before becoming a police officer. Perry retired in 1994 after 25.5 years of service. He worked as a campus security officer with the Carrollton/Farmers Branch Independent School District establishing safety policies and procedures. He retired after 20 years of service in 2014. Perry is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Bryan Wilson White and wife Laura; son, Blaine Wesley White and wife Lisa; daughter, Brenna Wrea Ross and husband Sul. Grandchildren: Anthony, Kailey, Emily and Landry Perry and Coy L. Ross. His sister, Judy Cervenka Fritts and brother, John Bradley White; plus, many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be given to Northside Baptist Church Missions Fund. Missionary: someone who leaves their family for a short time so that others may be with their families for Eternity.
