OBITUARY

WILLIAMS
JEFFREY RYAN WILLIAMS, born March 31, 1975 in Jacksonville, FL, died surrounded by his family and dear friends at Brakenridge Trauma Center Sunday May 2, 2004 in Austin TX as a result of injuries incurred in an auto accident during a severe thunderstorm. He is survived by his precious daughter, Brianna Hope Williams, age 8. Jeffrey is the beloved son of Gene and Penni Williams of Plano, TX and is also survived by his grandfather, Eugene J. Williams, Sr. of North Carolina, his aunt and uncles, Ken and Debbie Dawsey of New York, Tim Lane of New Hampshire, Rick Addington of North Carolina, and numerous cousins. Jeff attended Trinity Christian Academy in Addison TX and graduated from Newman Smith High School in Carrollton in 1993. He attended Texas Tech for two years graduated from West Texas A&M and just completed coursework for his master's degree in counseling at St. Edwards University in Austin. He was an active participant in the Student Society for Master of Arts in Counseling. He was to be a co-presenter at an American Psychological Association conference in Honolulu, HI with Dr. Elizabeth Katz, Director of Master of Arts in Counseling Program at St. Edwards. His dear friend, Tom Collier, will receive Jeff's degree onhis behalf at graduation May 8th. Jeff grew up attending Sojourn Church in Carrollton and was active in Hope Chapel and Hope in the City Churches in Austin. Jeff loved the Lord, dedicated his life to Him at an early age and recommitted to Him in recent years. He loved life and in his death became a giver of life by donating his major organs to five recipients. Visitation will be held at Sparkman Dickey Funeral Home, Dallas, TX this Thursday, May 6th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. Pastor Terry Moore will officiate the funeral services to be held at Sojourn Church on 4041 Marsh Lane, Carrollton, TX. on Friday, May 7th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff's name to the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance at 7000 N. MoPac, Suite 310, Austin, TX 78731.
