OBITUARY

Nina Evelyn Williams
April 21, 1932 - April 16, 2024

Nina Evelyn Williams passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024, at the age of 91. She was born on April 21, 1932, in Wills Point, Texas to Henry Newton Dotson and Flossie Valta Mann. Known affectionately as Mimi to her grandchildren, she embodied the essence of motherhood, grandmotherhood, and great grandmotherhood, while also serving as a devoted wife and steadfast friend to many. Her legacy is one of boundless kindness, unwavering generosity, and a profound love for family.

Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Eugene Williams, her daughter Patty Elaine Goodenough, her parents, and her siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren: Samantha Crowther, Candace Davis, Ashley Goodenough Coty Goodenough, and Daniel Goodenough, and her great-grandchildren: Dustin, Carlye, Joshua, Talitha, and many other beloved family members and friends.

Mimi's passions were as diverse as they were vibrant - from her love of travel, square dancing, and taking cruises, to the simple joy found in playing Farmville, gambling, and solving Sunday crossword puzzles. She was deeply committed to her family, keeping to holiday traditions, and always held true to her beliefs and values.

Together with her beloved husband, Albert, she not only built a successful business but also established a workplace culture rooted in family values and a commitment to excellence. She had a way of leaving a lasting impact on those around her, even up to the final moments of her life. She will be remembered for her steadfastness, strength, resilience, and dry-witted sense of humor.

A funeral service honoring Nina's remarkable life will be held on April 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home located at 400 Freeport Pkwy, Coppell, TX 75019.

Our family is comforted knowing Mimi was peaceful throughout her last days; she knew that she was truly loved and cherished. We are grateful that Mimi is celebrating joyfully in the arms of our Heavenly Father, restored and renewed.
