Jimmy Dale Woods
Quinlan, Texas
August 31, 1950 - January 13, 2022
Jimmy Dale Woods, age 71, of Quinlan passed away on Thursday, January
13, 2022 in Greenville.
Mr. Woods was born on August 31, 1950 in Dallas, TX to Edgar and Jean
(Hunt) Woods. He married Rebecca L. Dodds September 1, 2001 in Quinlan.
Jimmy worked as a construction superintendent as well as a carpenter. He
enjoyed being outdoors, raising livestock, and spending time with his
grandkids.
He is survived by sisters Debbie Hathaway and spouse Mark of Carrollton,
Donna Portwood and spouse Bill of Corpus Christi; daughters Jamie June
Hollaway and spouse Lance of Denton, Joni Woods and spouse Ryan Hicks of
Allen; stepsons Jamie Holtman of Gatesville Michael Holtman of Waco;
nephews John and Justin Violet, Joel and Nathan Portwood; grandchildren
Gracyen, Wren, Brendan, and Karissa Hollaway, Devin, Miles and Eathan
Hicks, Lyla Holtman, Ashton Amador; and numerous he called his.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Jean Woods. |
