OBITUARY
ROBERT YANCY
ROBERT "BOB" EARLTON, YANCY born Jun. 10, 1942 in Bivins, TX and passed
away Dec. 31, 2002 in Plano, TX at age 60. Bob was a loving husband,
father, and grandfather. He was a very giving and helpful person with a
benevolent heart. Bob volunteered his time with the Youth and Children's
Ministry of Christian Life Assembly and The Ronald McDonald House. He
fed a lot of mouths with his famous smoked brisket and barbecue. He was
a typical Texan and could talk to anybody. We'll miss his barbecued
brisket. Bob is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy, children, Jesse
Dale Yancy and wife Roxann, Julie Denise Ellis and husband Clinton, one
grandson, Trace Franklin Ellis, sister, Jacque Clanton, aunts and
uncles, Robert Bunting, Jack Bunting and wife Kathern, and Marie Tucker
and husband Ben. The family will receive friends and relatives at the
funeral home Fri., Jan. 3, 2003 from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be
Sat., Jan. 4, 2003 at 3:00 PM in Christian Life Assembly, 2435 B. Hebron
Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75007, with interment to follow at
Furneaux Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Bob's name to The Ronald McDonald
