OBITUARY BILLIE YOUNG
YOUNG, BILLIE, 75, a resident of Carrollton passed away on March 1, 2003. Billie
was born on October 19, 1927
in Dallas, Texas to William and Ethel Simpson, later marrying Leonard Young on
September 1, 1943, who preceded her in death in 1987. Billie worked for Ford
Motor Company for over 38 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the
Church of Our Savior in Dallas. Billie loved watching her favorite sports teams
On television and watching her son and granddaughter race at the Texas Motorplex.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Young of Carrollton; Son and
Daughter-in-law, Mike and Glenda Young of Waxahachie; Sister-in-law, Joyce
Simpson of Dallas; And two grandchildren, Joni and Jason Young. Memorials may be
made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at the chapel of the
Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral home at 1:00 PM with Father Gerry Sevick
officiating the Service. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM, Monday,
March 3, 2003. Interment will follow at the
Hilltop Cemetery in Carrollton
at 3:30 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin
