OBITUARY

Gordon B. Zettler III

Gordon Berrian Zettler III, 66, of Carrollton died Sept. 4 after a long illness.

Mr. Zettler was born Dec. 4, 1934, in Guntersville, Ala. The son of Gordon B. Zettler II and Maude Smith Zettler, he served in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He had retired as a machinist for Continental Electronics.

He is survived by his wife, Sara P. Zettler; two sons, David J. Zettler and Paul G. Zettler; a brother, Philip Zettler; and five grandchildren.

His funeral was Sept. 8 at Midway Road Baptist Church in Farmers Branch. The Rev. Paul Zettler and the Rev. Glenn Meredith officiated. Burial was in Furneaux Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were by W. Kent Adair.
