GRADUATION EXERCISES
Next Friday night, Mar 31, the closing exercises and
the awarding of diplomas will be had in the School Auditorium.
In the graduating class this year are five girls; Fay
Whitlock, Pleona Gulledge, Pearl Thompson, Auvern McRight, Charles Mays;
and three boys, Edgar Good, Leland Perry and Clyde Mayes.
Superintendents speaks well of the work of the class
during the year and considerable interest ins being manifested in the
coming exercises. The Union Missionary Baptist revival will have no
services on that night, as announced at the beginning of the meeting.
The Commencement Sermon will be preached at the
Methodist Church Sunday, April 2, by Rev. Chestnutt, minister of the
Christian church. This service of the revival has likewise been arranged
to be passed so many could attend.
