Diplomas Given At Carrollton
Special to the News CARROLLTON, Texas, June 2. - Honor students
among graduates of the Carrollton High School presented diplomas were Joe
Hardin Bailey, Betty Lou Keneipp, Betty Blanton and Katherine Sutherland.
Miss Keneipp received the Lion's Club all-round student award,
bestowed by Supt. John W. Gunstream. E. P. Berryhill, principal of the high
school, presented the scholarships and O. F. Godfrey of the School Board of
trustees delivered the diplomas.
Dr. R. J. Garner, Texas State College for Women, Denton, spoke at graduating
exercises held on the First Christian Church lawn. Diplomas were
