1939 Carrollton Glee Club

CARROLLTON, Texas, April 18 = One of the first glee club to be organized in the high schools of Dallas County is the club at Carrollton of which Mrs. May Stephenson is organizer and director. Club members are left to right, front row, Cicero Long, Eugene Coats, Wesley Vinson, Melvin Crouch, and Jerald Wammack; second row, Clyde Hartline, Harold Hartline, Wallace Mayberry, Mrs. Stephenson, Melvin Hartline, Gara Stark and Delbert Moore; third row, James Cook, Amos Shafer, Richmond Cook, Bennett Guynes and Wilton Gravley.
