Pauline Brantley, the daughter of Alvin and Florence Howard Clemmons, was born October 4, 1915 in Terrell, Texas. Pauline grew up in the country around Terrell and attended school in the area. She suffered the loss of her father and mother at a very early age.

A resident of Addison and Carrollton for many years, she later moved to Flower Mound and returned to Terrell about five years ago. In addition to being a homemaker, Pauline worked in the public school system, retiring after 23 years of service.

A Baptist, Pauline was devoted to her family and loved to cook.

In addition to her parents and two sisters, Pauline was preceded in death by her two husbands, Doyal Brantley and Thurmon Howard. She is survived by her three children, Peggy Kelley of Hawkins, Texas, Doug Brantley and his wife Gail of Terrell, Tx., and Dale Brantley and his wife Vicki of Flower Mound, Tx.; three granddaughters, Perry Pennington, Toni Stephens and Stacey Hawthorne; four grandsons, Roger Kelley, Marlin Brantley, Garrett Brantley and Richard Gaston; eleven great, grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren and a sister, Marie Long of Dennison, Tx.

A visitation and viewing will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19th at the Rhoton Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Lonnie Harris of the First Assembly of God Church in Terrell will officiate with burial to follow in Hilltop Memorial Park Cemetery in Carrollton.

Pallbearers will be Mike Birdsong, Ronnie Allred, Grant Harwell, Roger Kelley, Marlin Brantley and Garrett Brantley.
