VALEDICTORIAN Arthur Ewing Receives Lions Club Award
Arthur Ewing, valedictorian of the Senior class, was also honored when he was
presented the Lion's Club Outstanding Student of the Year award by Mr. E. H.
Bishop, Lion President, at the Commencement Exercises Friday night in the High
School Auditorium. This award being conferred on the senior student who is
outstanding in scholarship extra-curricular activities, attitude, citizenship,
cooperation.
The student is selected by the faculty and this year the contest was between
Arthur and Ed Slaughter. The Carrollton Chronicle - Friday, May 31,
