Larry Wayne Featherston, Sr.

Larry Wayne Featherston Sr., age 66, passed away in Plano, Texas on September 25, 2017. Born on February 22, 1951, Larry grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from RL Turner High School in 1969. He was an active member of the First Christian Church of Carrollton and the Venture Sailing Club of Dallas. Larry was preceded in death by his father JW, brother Deward, and dear family friend Jack Kisselburg. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lora (Witcher); mother Emily (Gordon); son and daugher-inlaw, Doctors Larry and Jennifer Featherston; daughter and son-in-law Lacy and Gary Higgins; grandchildren, Caleb, Mallory, Bo, Jack, Cain, and Peyton. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 7, at the First Christian Church of Carrollton and a Celebration of Life at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Carrollton, TX.
