GLIDEWELL, DOROTHY LORINE, 88, passed away in Dallas, TX on Friday, March 31, 2006. She was born in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma to Marietta Coe & John Thomas French on Independence Day 1917. Throughout her life, Dorothy was a strong Christian woman who ministered to countless people alongside her husband Willie. The pair served as Pastors at the 1st Assembly of God Church in Richardson, TX for 38 years. Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Reverend Willie George Glidewell and by one son Donald Ray Glidewell. She leaves to treasure her memory seven children: Richard Glidewell & wife Helen of Lindale, TX, Sarah Cummings & husband Clifford of Dallas, TX, Herbert Glidewell & wife Georgia of Dallas, TX, Charles Glidewell & wife Susie of Pottsboro, TX, Johnny Glidewell & wife Anna of Carrollton, TX, David Glidewell of Lone Oak, TX and Linda Woodall & husband Ronnie of Ringgold, LA; one sister Mildred Neal of Fort Worth, TX; 21 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 18 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2006 in the Rhoton Chapel, Interment will follow in Hilltop Memorial  Park in Carrollton, TX. Pallbearers include: Terry Glidewell, Jason Glidewell, Chuck Glidewell, Donnie Glidewell, Wesley Glidewell, and Joshua Glidewell. Honorary Pallbearers include: Tim Glidewell, Bobby Wiggins, and Chris Woodall.
