Chequita Kay Ford McMillan
McMILLAN Chequita Kay Ford McMillan, born in Farmers Branch, TX, passed away January 2, 2010. The daughter of the late Kenneth F. Ford and Marie Rodgers Ford. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Montague McMillan Jr., her brother, Shelby Ford and her sister, Juanita Craft. She is survived by a sister, Jean Crawley of Keiser, OR; two children, Montague Kenneth McMillan (Terrie) and Carolyn Marie McMillan Foreman (C.J.); four grandchildren, Heather Kay Nesenoff, Charles 'Joey' Foreman, Jr., Kaitlin Rose McMillan, and Colin Montague McMillan; two great grandchildren, Grace and Maxwell. She graduated from Andrew Jackson H.S. and FCCJ. She retired from Bell South in 1996 and was employed with Watson Realty for 7 years. She is a member of Christ Church PCA. Kay will be forever remembered as a true southern lady with a love of cooking, quilting and most of all, family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 with Rev. John R. Sittema officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday (Tonight) from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. The family request memorials be made in her memory to: Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257
