OBITUARY

Sharon "Mimi" Bennett
February 14, 1952 - November 7, 2020

Mrs. Sharon “Mimi” Dycus Bennett, age 68, of Gunter, passed away Saturday morning, November 7, 2020.

She was born February 14, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, a daughter of the late William Claude and Maudie Lee Dycus.

Sharon was preceded in death by her brother Edwin Rivers and her nephew Terry Hackler.

She was a woman with a strong Christian faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, Hallmark movies, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years William Robert Bennet. Her two Children Ty (Brenda) Bennett of Sherman, Texas, and Tisha (Gary) of Gunter, Texas. Her three grandchildren Kaylee, Beau, and Shae. Four siblings Shirley Hackler, Norma McLean, Darrell Dycus, and Tony Dycus. She also leaves many nephews and nieces who will sadly miss her.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Whitaker Cemetery, in Gunter, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, November 13, 2020 at the funeral home.
