POSTING ON FAMILY TREE MAKER
Per my phone call with Maudie on 12-8-03, Terry was getting some burgers and
fries on 11-12-03. He was returning to the birthday party for Taylor and reached
for a French fry when he lost control of his pickup. In the ensuing accident, he
was severely injured but remained awake and aware. His uncle Edwin & aunt
Phyllis were also going after food when they saw the accident. Edwin stopped and
learned it was Terry's vehicle and used his cell phone to try to get Care Flight
to hurry and help Terry. Terry was taken to Parkland Hospital where he was
treated. He had a broken back, broken ribs, broken arm?, broken leg?, but his
hands, feet, and face were relatively unscathed. Somehow his lung was punctured
but not diagnosed as such.
The family was very saddened by his death, but they know he was a Christian and
that he is "Home" and OK. They all got to be with him while he was responsive
and could they could let each other know they were loved. MB
