Ruth Colwell Bride of James Berryhill
Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Colwell of Coppell have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Ruth Colwell to James E. Berryhill, seaman 1-c, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Berryhill, Carrollton. The Rev. H. M. Cowling read the ceremony Dec. 4 in Rockwall. The mothers of the couple attended the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Berryhill will live in California, where he is to be stationed. They are graduates of Carrollton High School. The bridegroom was on duty in the South Pacific for fifteen months.

OBITUARY
 
MARTHA RUTH BERRYHILL
1927—2021

A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend went to be with her heavenly father on September 23, 2021. She was born October 14, 1927 in Coppell, Texas to Charles Jackson Colwell and Belle Ward. She was proceeded in death by her parents, 7 siblings and her husband James Emory Berryhill of Bonham, Texas. She is survived by her two children James Micheal Berryhill, Janet Ruth Caruth and her son-in-law Dr. Jeffrey Chandler Caruth, her grandaughters Christen Caruth and Loren Hervey, Clayton Hervey, her great grandchildren Chandler Belle Hervey and Carson Emory Hervey. Ruth donated her body to UNT Health Science Center Willed Body Program for science and research. A private memorial service may be announced at a later date. The family kindly request donations be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
