OBITUARY

James Ira Brake, residence Carrollton, died Wednesday, June 30. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Averill Gravley, Mrs. Emma Bell Peters; brother, E. W. Brake; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Fyke, Mrs. Dona Snawder, Mrs. John Spencer. Services held 10 a.m. Friday, Carrollton First Baptist church, Rev. Thomas B. Guinn and Rev. Leon Turner officiating. Interment was in Perry Cemetery with Rhoton Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers: Cecil Coonrod, Ray Ogle, V. E. Brake, Clifton Myers, Darrell Myers, Marlin Myers.

GRANDMOTHER BRAKE ENTERTAINED

Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Brake entertained with a sumptuous dinner on Sunday Nov. 13 the honoring the seventy first birthday of Grandma Brake.
Upon the birthday cake were seventy one blue and pink candles. Those who partook of the feast were Eldon Brake and family, Arch Fyke and family, Roy Gravley and wife and Misses Lena Maxey and Lula Gravley
