OBITUARY

Curtis Bridges

Funeral services for Curtis Bridges, 65, of 13217 Goodland, a maintenance man at the Parkland Hospital Doctor's Building for the last five years, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel, 800 West Jefferson. The Rev. James L. Koontz of St. Mark's Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Farmers Branch Cemetery.
Mr. Bridges died Friday in a Dallas hospital after several months' illness.
A resident of Dallas for 50 years, Mr. Bridges has been employed at the Dallas Athletic Club for about 10 years prior to his employment at Parkland.
A veteran of World War I, Mr. Bridges was decorated for valor personally by General Pershing in Paris.
He was born in Mayfield, Ky.
Survivors are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Dora Bridges of Dallas, and a brother, Wayne Bridges of Dallas.
Pallbearers will be Richard Johnson, Milton James, Raymond Head, Cecil  Watson, Les Yager and Ted Lachenmyer.
