OBITUARY

Mrs Dora Bridges

Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Bridges, 88, a Dallas resident for over 50 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel, 800 W. Jefferson. The Rev. Claude E. Stinson, pastor of Oak Cliff Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Farmers Branch Cemetery.
Mrs. Bridges, a native of Dawson Springs, Ky., died Sunday in a Cleburne convalescent home after a long illness. She came to Dallas from Paducah, Ky., where she had married the late Thomas Hollie Bridges in 1893. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are a son, Wayne P. Bridges of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Janie Bagwell of Paducah Ky.; one brother, Walter Adcox of Paducah, and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Wade Payne Jr., Ralph Heitzman, William Pitcock, Bob Stewart, George Hudspeth and Ralph Parker.
