OBITUARY
Collins,
Bernard Edward Born December 27, 1933 in Wolf Point, MT and passed away
January 5, 2013 in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by wife,
Barbara J. Collins;
sister, Rita Everett Gillingham and brother, Chuck Collins. Ed is
survived by his children, Cameron (Anne) Collins, Monte (Vicki) Collins,
Tom (Sandy) Collins and Christy (Rick) Gallipeau; sisters, Connie (Tom)
Young, Charlene Houts and Lilly Jackson; 6 grandchildren and 8 great
grandchildren. After retirement, Ed and Barbara traveled the world,
hosting friends and family on many trips. Ed and Barbara both enjoyed
entertaining friends and family at their North Dallas home and were very
active in their Home Owners Association. Ed will be best remembered for
his hard work, attention to detail, his generosity and his love for his
family and friends. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM,
Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be
held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 10 at Restland Memorial Chapel with
interment following at
Hilltop Cemetery, 1810 N. Perry Rd, Carrollton, TX. In lieu of
flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. |
