COONROD, BONNIE EPPS
90 of Denton died Monday, January 23, 2006 in Durant, OK. He was born August 2, 1915 in Dallas to Henry Abner and Minnie P. Smith Coonrod. He married Mary Lou Parsley on January 11, 1936 in Farmers Branch. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2002. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and attended Cooper Creek Baptist Church. He was a crane operator before his retirement. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25th from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 26th at 11:00 AM at Cooper Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Bryan officiating. Burial will follow at Cooper Creek Cemetery. He is survived by sons, Bobby Joe Coonrod of Denton, Jackie Ray Coonrod of Bokchito, OK, sister, Stella Mae Atkinson of Joshua, 4 grandsons and 8 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by a great granddaughter. Memorials may be made to Cooper Creek Cemetery Association, 2020 E. University Dr., Denton, Texas 76209.
