OBITUARY

R. L. Cox

Funeral services for Robert Lewis Cox were held at the First Baptist Church in Carrollton on Monday, Nov. 24. The Rev. Wayne Allen and the Rev. Doyle Braden officiated. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas.
Mr. Cox lived in this area 42 years. He moved with his parents and younger brother to Farmers Branch at the age of 2. He attended school in Farmers Branch and graduated from high school in Carrollton, where he played football. He has since been a loyal Lions fan.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carrollton, where he taught a Sunday School class for young boys.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Reta Cox, of Carrollton; his mother, Mrs. Vera Cox of Farmers Branch; one brother, M. F. Cox, Farmers Branch; and two sisters, Mrs. Maurine Pollard of Farmers Branch and Mrs. Charline Shehane of Carrollton.
