OBITUARY

Rev. C. W. Dennis Dies at Lone Oak

GREENVILLE, Texas. Nov 10. - The Rev C. W. Dennis, 66, member of the North Texas Methodist Conference forty-two years, died Thursday noon from a stroke of apoplexy at his home in Lone Oak, where he had assumed a pastorate a week ago.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Lone Oak and in McKinney at 4 p.m. by the Rev. G. A. Lenho, Sulphur Springs, and the Rev. E. A. Drew, Ladonia. Burial will be in the Pecan Grove Cemetery at McKinney.
Born at Farmers Branch, he had served as pastor of Methodist churches throughout the North Texas Conference. He came to Lone Oak Pecan Gap. he is survived by three daughters, Miss Orpa Dennis, Commerce; Miss Eunice Dennis, Nacogdoches; Mrs. Vim Burke, Beaumont; two brothers, Sut Dennis, San Angelo, and Jim Dennis, and two sisters, Mrs. Leika Graveley, Farmers Branch, and Mrs. E. P. Hall, Fort Worth.
