Mrs. A. J. Dennis Dies At Farmers Branch

FARMERS BRANCH, Dallas Co., Texas. Feb. 23, Mrs. A. J. Dennis who had lived in Farmers Branch for eighty-four of the eighty-six years of her life, died Thursday at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. C. A. Foster. The funeral will be held at the Methodist Church Saturday morning, with burial in Webb's Chapel Cemetery.  Her grandsons will act as pallbearers.
Mrs. Dennis is survived by six children, J. J. Dennis, G. N. Dennis, and Mrs. J. B. Gravley of Farmers Branch, J. S. Dennis of San Angelo, Dudley Dennis of Royce City and Mrs. E. P. Hall of Fort Worth

The funeral of Mrs. A. J. Dennis was held at the Methodist church of which she was a life long member, Saturday, February 25.  J. S. Dennis and family and Bob Mimms and wife of San Angelo and Willie Dennis and daughter, Mrs. Timmons, of Ft. Worth and Rev. C. A. Dennis and family of Royce City were here to attend the funeral. All of her children were with her during the last weeks of her illness.  Mesdames W. Taliaferro and G. L. Ford, sisters  of Mrs. Dennis, are the only survivors of the family. A large number of friends from different parts of the county attended.
