OBITUARY
 

Funeral services for Earline Dooley will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Dorchester Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Fletcher will officiate and burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Friends are welcome to come share memories with the family at the Dorchester Baptist Church fellowship hall from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Alstyne, TX. Pallbearers will be Bob Dooley, Buddy Dooley, Randy Dooley, Mike Covington, Gary Bennett and Robert Welch. Earline passed away at the age of 92 at her home surrounded by her family on April 28, 2017. Earline was born on July 24, 1924 in Farmers Branch, TX to the late Omar K. and Modesta Jackson Smith. She married Homer H. Dooley on July 25, 1942 in Dallas, TX and they were married for 66 years before he passed away on July 30, 2008. The Dooley’s moved to Dorchester 48 years ago to continue farming and ranching from Addison area. Earline was a longtime faithful member of the Dorchester Baptist Church, a member of the Dorchester Ladies Club and the Gunter Ladies Club. She is survived by her three sons, Bob Dooley and wife Suzette of Sherman, TX, Buddy Dooley and with Katy of Azle, TX and Randy Dooley of Allen, TX, 12 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. Earline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Barry Wayne Dooley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Scoggins Funeral Home, 637 W.
