Thrown from a Buggy.
Farmers Branch, Tex., April 8. - Mr. G. L. Ford was thrown from his buggy last night while returning home from a lodge and sustained painful injuries.

OBITUARY

DEATHS IN DALLAS
Ford - Funeral services for G. L. Ford, who died Wednesday night, was held at the family residence at 3203 McKinney avenue, at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon. the Rev Claude M. Simpson, pastor of Oak Lawn Methodist Church officiating.  The burial was in the cemetery at Webb Chapel, twelve miles north of the city. The Odd Fellows Lodge of Farmers Branch had charge of the service at the grave. The active pallbearers were J. L. Dennis, M. W. Cox, J. H. Webb, George B. Ford, Herbert Taliaferro and Robert Eagon. The honorary pallbearers were R. L. Winfrey, B. W. Langley, Ewing Buchanan, Judge W. L. Crawford Jr. and John Orr

OBITUARY

G. L. FORD DIES AT DALLAS HOME

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT RESIDENCE TOMORROW AFTERNOON

G. L. (Dutch) Ford, 71, years old, died at 10:20 o'clock last night at his home 3203 McKinney avenue, corner Bowen street. Mr. Ford was born in Washington County., Va., June 29, 1844. He settled in Tennessee in his youth, and during the Civil War served in the Sixty First Tennessee Cavalry. He came to Texas in 1872, and settled on a farm in the northeastern part of Dallas County. He married a daughter of R. D. Webb, a Dallas County pioneer. Ten years ago he retired from active business and came to the city to live.
Mr. Ford was a member of Camp Sterling Price, United Confederate Veterans, of the Farmer's Branch Lodge of Odd Fellows, and of the Oak Lawn Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. R. P. Brent, and three sons, Will I. Ford, Howard M. Ford and G. L. Ford Jr., all of Dallas. He is also survived by a brother, F. M. Ford of Dallas, and two sisters, Mrs. P. W. Simmerman of Johnson City, Tenn., and Mrs. J. J. Adams.
Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The burial will be in the cemetery at Webb Chapel, twelve miles northeast of the city.
