OBITUARY

FORD, HOWARD M. (PETE)
Born June 18, 1924 in Farmers Branch, TX passed away March 8, 2008 in Dallas, TX. The youngest of 10 children, he was preceded in death by his father, Howard M. Ford, Sr., his mother, Ella Nevada Smith and eight siblings. He served in WWII as a U.S. Navy Seabee and was a lifetime member of VFW 6796 - Dallas. He was a member of Lake Highlands Baptist Church in Dallas. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Billie and their sons, Patrick Ford and wife Shelli; daughters Susan Murphy, Dolores Geneva, Beverly Cavender and husband John; sons K. Davis Cook and John Howard Ford; sister Dot Good, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:30 at Williams Funeral Home in Garland, TX with Pastor Mark Farish officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Chapel Cemetery in Farmers Branch, TX.
