OBITUARY

Lloyd R Foster
May 4, 1951 - May 22, 2025

Lloyd R. Foster, 74, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. Born on May 4, 1951, in Dallas, Texas, Lloyd lived a life rooted in family, faith, and the great outdoors.

He was the son of Alvin Earl Foster and Margie Lee Roe. Lloyd grew up in Texas and attended R.L. Turner High School. He later built a career delivering concrete for the City of Flower Mound, where his hard work and dedication were well known.

Lloyd was a man of the Baptist faith and lived with a strong sense of conviction and character. Those who knew him remember his loving nature, outspoken spirit, and outgoing personality. He was a fantastic brother and a loyal friend to many.

An avid outdoorsman, Lloyd found joy in fishing, hunting, water skiing, and cooking out—activities that reflected his deep appreciation for nature and time spent with others. Whether casting a line or firing up the grill, he brought energy and enthusiasm to everything he did.

Lloyd is survived by his mother Margie Lee Roe; brothers Charles Foster and Eugene Foster; sisters Carla Ballard and Cynthia Bohannon; cousin Victor Pryor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He also held a special place in his heart for Colt, Tim, and Ashley Rainey, and four grandchildren whom he loved like his own.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Earl Foster and BJ Rainey whom cared for Lloyd for many years.

Lloyd’s memory will live on through those who shared in his life and adventures. May his legacy bring comfort to all who knew him.
