WEDDING
The forthcoming marriage on June 2 of Miss Marian Mildred Taylor, 809 W.
Leuda and Bobby Frazier Giles, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Giles Sr., 7100
Grapevine Highway, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs V. L. Taylor
of Amarillo.
The wedding will take place at 8 p.m. in Central Church of Christ in Amarillo,
with the reception also to be at the chruch. James R. Wilburn of Appleton, Wis.,
minister and brother-in-law of the bride-elect, will officiate.
Bridal attendants will be Mrs. Wilburn, who will be her sister's matron of
honor; Miss Lucy Freeman f McAlester, Okla. maid of honor; Misses Annette Lee of
Spur, Janet Patrick of Fort Worth and Mary Lee Moffitt of Louisville, Ky.,
brides-maids; Mrs. Houston Goodspeed of Dallas brides matron.
Bob Fitzgerald of Fort Worth will be best man and groomsmen will be Douglas
Giles of Harlingen and Raymond, Billy and H. L. Giles, all brothers of the
prospective bridegroom. Stan Taylor, the bride-elect's brother, and Walter Gene
Gary and Homer Giles, all brothers of the future bridegroom, will usher. Don
Taylor, brother of Miss Taylor, and Jackie Giles, the prospective bridegroom's
brother will light the candles.
Miss Taylor is a graduate of Abilene Christian College and now is a first grade
teacher at M. H. Moore Elementary School Her fiancé was graduated from NTSC High
School in Denton.
