OBITUARY John R. Good Funeral Set
Funeral services for John Roland, 42, of Irving, garage foreman for the
Dallas Power & Light Company, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Leach
Funeral Home in Irving. Good, a DP&L employee twenty years, died Friday.
He was a member of two pioneer families of Dallas County, being a grandson of
the late Noah Good and the late Joe Butler. He was
born at Farmers Branch Sept. 2, 1907.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. G. B. Bailey, Wolfe City, Hunt County,
and the Rev. J. M. Tharp, Irving. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hester Good; his mother,
Mrs. John Good,
Farmers Branch; four brothers, Byron Good, Dallas,
Chester Good, Carrollton; Truett Good, Farmers Branch, and
Oran Good, Farmers Branch; two sisters, Mrs.
Flora Rome, Farmers Branch, and Mrs. A. C. Reeves, Burkburnett, Wichita County.

Survived by wife, hester of Irving; mother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Good, Farmers
Branch; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Rowe, Farmers Branch and Mrs. Virgie Reeves,
Burkburnett; four brothers, Chester Good, Carrollton; Bryon Good, Dallas;
Trewitt Good, Farmers Branch, and Oran Good, Farmers Branch. Services Leach
Funeral Chapel, Irving, Sunday, 2:30 p.m., Rev. Bailey and Rev. J. M. Tharp
officiating. Pallbearers: Wayland Pickett, V. L. Allen, Billy C. Woody, Alva
Brown, Harold Arrington and Ed Klingbeil. Interment Oak Grove Memorial Park,
