Letters to Santa Claus

Dear Santa Claus: -
I want a doll that has a jointed body, unbreakable, and sleepy eyes, a set of dishes and a scooter. Please do not forget little sister, Aleta, because she can't write to you; she is ony ten months old, and don't want very much. Oh yes, please don't for get some fruit, nuts, candy and some fireworks.  I thank you.

OBITUARY

GRAHAM
TOMMIE JOYCE CROMER born October 24, 1922 in Carrollton, TX, to J. L. Cromer and Ruby Jewel Cromer, went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2000 after a valiant 18 month battle against colon cancer. Her daughter Judy Ruth Lewis precedes her in death. Tommie retired as the cafeteria manager for DeWitt Perry Junior High School in Carrollton after 25 years of service. She received the lifetime Membership PTA award for her dedication and contributions to the students. Tommie was also a lifetime member of the WSCS of the Methodist Church. Tommie and Gilchrist were Charter members of Trietsch Memorial Methodist in Flower Mound.  She volunteered at the church's "Mother's Day Out" program where the kids called her "Grandma."  Tommie loved children dearly. Tommie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas Gilchrist Graham. They were married on Nov. 30, 1940 in Carrollton where they raised their kids. Later they moved to Flower Mound where they enjoyed 20 years on their acreage. Tommie is also survived by her daughter Pat Justice and her husband Ron; son, Thomas Graham and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Brian Lewis. Kelly Lewis, Todd Justice, Janay Graham and Jason Graham; sister, Aleta Shafer and her husband Jack; brother, Wayne Cromer and his wife Margie as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Tommie's feisty spirit and caring attitude for all who knew and loved her will be greatly missed.  A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 till 9:00 PM Feb. 16 at Metrocrest Funeral  Home in Carrollton, with funeral services being held Thursday Feb. 17, 2000 at Dalton & Sons Funeral Home in Lewisville; TX at 1:00 PM, burial will follow at McCurly Cemetery in Lewisville, with Pastor Mark Dallaloi officiating.  If desired contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Tommie's name.
