George G. Grimmer III
(November 1, 1979 - October 11, 2012)George G. Grimmer III,
32, died from head injuries suffered at his home in McKinney, Texas on
11 October 2012. He died in the Baylor Hospital Trauma Unit at 4:45 p.m.
surrounded by family and friends. George is survived by his parents
Susan & George Grimmer, Jr., a brother Geoffrey, his grandparents
Glenna
& George Grimmer and Peggy & Gerald Fournier, aunts and uncles, Becky
Grimmer & David Bee and Betty & Brian Fling. George attended Texas A&M
University in College Station and the University of Texas at Dallas
earning a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering. For the past 5 years
he has worked for Raytheon Corporation in McKinney, Texas. At the time
of his death, George had everything going for him. He had a job he
loved, co-workers he respected and who respected him and many wonderful
friends. He had recently been assigned several new projects at work that
he was excited about and he was attending a Leadership Development
program. On Tuesday, October 16, at 5 p.m., there will be a rosary said
for George at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern
Hollow, Austin, Texas. A funeral Mass will be celebrated next Saturday,
October 20, at 6:30 p.m.,

Catholic Parish, 2800 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas.
Internment will be following at the church. A memorial scholarship fund
has been established in George's name at the University of Texas at
Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made
to this fund for the benefit of future engineering students. George
