OBITUARY
VIRGINIA
(Ginny) Hawley
October 4, 1948 - February 17, 2023
Virginia (Ginny) Lou Cockrill Hawley age 74 passed away February 17,
2023 in Colorado Springs, CO surrounded by her family. She was born
October 4, 1948 to Sid and Wynell Cockrill in McKinney TX.
Ginny and Kieth married in 1968 in Farmers Branch TX. Ginny graduated
from R. L. Turner High School, Carrollton TX in 1967 where she obtained
a hairdressing degree. She was very artistic and loved doing ceramics,
crafting and being with her family. Ginny will be remembered as a loving
wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Ginny is survived by her husband, Kieth Hawely; son, Clayton Hawley,
wife Michelle and granddaughter Makayla of Collinsville TX; sister,
Cathy Compton of Krugerville TX and many loving nieces and nephews, all
who will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by son, Marty Hawley; parents, Sid and Wynell
Cockrill and brother, Wayne Cockrill.
A Funeral Service for Ginny will be held at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in
Lewisville TX on Friday, March3, 2023 at 2:00pm, with Dr. Raymond Horne
officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday,
March2, 2023 at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home. 740 S. Edmonds Lane,
Lewisville TX, 75067
Interment will immediately follow the Funeral Service at Roselawn
Cemetery in Denton TX. |
