Celebration of life service for Leonard "Honey" Henson will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, in Resthaven Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Leonard "Honey" Ross Henson was born May 29, 1941, in Farmers Branch, Texas, to the late John and Dorothy (Jones) Henson. He married the love of his life, Sandra Sullivan, Aug. 19, 1960, in Farmers Branch, Texas. Honey graduated from Texas Tech University in 1974, with a bachelors degree in business. He retired from Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company where he was a claims supervisor. He was a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Ross Henson. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sandra; daughters Kim McAnally, LeeAnne Raines and husband Chad; son Chris Henson and wife Carrie; sisters Betty Dafft and Carol Means; brother Johnny Henson; and grandchildren Justin McAnally, Sullivan Henson, Ross Raines, Jackson Raines, Addison Henson and Channing Henson.
