WILLIAM THOMAS HILL Hill, William Thomas "Tom" Born Jan. 29, 1929 in Farmers Branch, TX. Passed away June 13, 2009. Graduated from Carrollton High School and joined the U.S. Navy. Married his high school sweetheart, Marcella McCoy in April, 1950. Survived by wife, Marcella, son Tom Hill, Jr. of Addison and son Ted Hill and daughter-in-law Laura Hunter of Bedford; granddaughters Whitney and Tessa Hill. Also survived by brother Jimmie Hill, sister-in-law Tedalu Carver and several nieces, nephews and cousins. After a successful career in transportation he retired and worked in funeral service in Carrollton and Farmers Branch. He has been a member of the James A. Smith Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Visitation: Tues., June 16, 2009 6:00-8:00pm in Memorial Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home. Celebration of Life, Wed., June 17, 2009 at 10:00am at North Dallas Funeral Home. William Thomas "Tom" Hill

CARROLLTON -- William Thomas "Tom" Hill died Saturday, June 13, 2009.

Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Wednesday at North Dallas Funeral Home. Interment: Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Webb Chapel United Methodist Church.

He graduated from Carrollton High School and joined the U.S. Navy. He married his high school sweetheart, Marcella McCoy, in April 1950.

After a successful career in transportation he retired and worked in funeral service in Carrollton and Farmers Branch. He had been a member of the James A. Smith Masonic Lodge over 50 years.

Survivors: Wife, Marcella; son, Tom Hill Jr. of Addison; son, Ted Hill; daughter-in-law, Laura Hunter, of Bedford; granddaughters, Whitney and Tessa Hill; brother, Jimmie Hill; sister-in-law, Tedalu Carver; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
