OBITUARY

Hodge, Sr., Clifford Earl
Hodge Sr., Clifford Earl Born October 31, 1919, in Dallas, Texas to Henry Lewis Hodge and Frances Earl Hodge, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Brownie Passons Hodge, daughter Ruth Adkisson and husband David, sons Ken Hodge and wife Pat, Ray Hodge and wife Heidi, Clifford Jr. (Preshie) and wife Shelia, Bill Hodge and wife Janice, and daughter Ann Ingram, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother John Hodge, and has numerous other family members and friends. He was a long time deacon of Royal Oaks Baptist Church and a current member of Lakeland Baptist Church. He was a US Marine during WWII, serving on the USS Indiana. He was a graduate of Crozier Tech High School in Dallas, and was a long time employee of A&P Tea Company and Nationmark, Inc. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00pm on Thursday, April 9th. Funeral Service will be held at Lakeland Baptist Church, 397 S Stemmons Freeway, Lewisville, Texas, at 10:00am, Friday, April 10th, with graveside at Restland Memorial Park immediately following the service.
