OBITUARY
SERVICES FOR MRS. KATE HOFMANN HELD IN ARLINGTON
Mrs Kate Hofmann died Thursday of last week in Fort Worth. She resided in
Arlington.
She is survived by her husband, W. F. Hofmann; two daughters, Mrs. F. L. Roseth,
New York, Mrs. Earl Brown, Irving; Mrs. W. S. McRight, Carrollton; four nieces
and one nephew.
Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Union Baptist Church, Rev. Delbert
Moore officiating, assisted by Rev. Earl Anderson, Dallas.
"A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep."
As we looked upon her peaceful countenance, we recalled her beautiful records.
Seldom do we find a life so completely yielded to the will and service of God.
She was a radiant Christian. Every day brought a testimony of her faith and joy.
A person of deep convictions, believing one should walk worthy of the high
calling, in conduct, words and dealings.
The world held few attractions for her. Her life was her family, her Bible and
her God.
Her friends, her children and her husband will ever remember her prayers and her
admonitions. They will be an inspiration to higher, Nobler living.
"Ye now therefor have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall
rejoice and your joy no man taketh from you."
Her Cousin,
MRS. EARL SKILES
