OBITUARY Boy Run Over
Wednesday morning about 9 o'clock Marvin Huffhines, second oldest son of
Tom Huffhines was run over by a Ford car driven by Willie Smith. The boy,
it seems, darted across the street behind a wagon right in front of the on
coming car, apparently without looking either way; the driver of the car seems
to be blameless since under the circumstances it was impossible to stop in time
to avoid the accident. Marvin was rushed to the St. Paul Sanitarium by Dr.
E. W. Burnett where a blood test was taken. At the time of going to press the
boy is reported as doing nicely and apparently not being in a condition
justifying any uneasiness on the part of his folks or doubt of his recovery
within a short time, barring, of course unlooked for developments.
