OBITUARY

Carrollton Resident For 72 Years Dies

Mrs. Andrew Jackson, 72, a resident of Carrollton all her life, died at her home there.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Carrollton Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Jackson was a lifelong member. The Rev. Robert H. Ridley will officiate. Burial will be in Carrollton's Cemetery Hill.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. F. I. Sorrells, Dallas, and a sister, Mrs. C. E. Jackson, Carrollton

OBITUARY

FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FO RPIONEER LOCAL RESIDENT
Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Andrew Jackson, pioneer Carrollton resident, Saturday afternoon at the Methodist Church.  The Rev. Robert H. Ridley, pastor, officiated, assisted by the Revs. Felix Kindel and W. N. Vernon.
Mrs. Andrew Jackson, daughter of J. M. and Charlotte Kennedy was born near here Sept. 10, 1875. She was married to Andrew Jackson at the Grove Cemetery Hill  Church on Oct. 10, 1894. To them two children were born, Ida Mae and Bertha. One daughter, Ida Mae Thompson, preceded her mother in death in 1927.
From her girlhood days she had been a member of the local Methodist Church and was one of the charter members.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, and a sister, Mrs. C. E. Jackson, of Carrollton.
