OBITUARY

In Memory of
Norma June (Lord) James
April 11, 1935 - February 7, 2012

Norma James was born on April 11, 1935 in Dallas, Texas and died in Plano, Texas on February 7, 2012. She was the daughter of Harry and Johnnie Lord, deceased, and was the wife of Jerrell L. "Bo" James who predeceased her in November of 1984. She is survived by her two daughters, Ginger Priest and Tere Kole and her son Jerrell L. "Jerry" James, her son-in-law Danny Priest, her grandchildren, Taylor Long, Nikki Alexander, Jerrell "Bo" Priest, Chelsea Nixon and Clint Granger and her Great Grandchildren, Kyla Long, Riley Granger and A.J. Nixon as well as her two sisters, Harriett Lord and Pat Hodge and brother-in-law, Kenneth Hodge.

Norma and Bo had a long, loving and fun marriage with the emphasis on fun. They did everything together, whether it was on the dance floor of the nightclub to fishing on Lake Dallas to hunting doves in the fields of West Plano to playing golf at Los Rios Country club in Plano.

Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She always took care of her family; whether that was her own family or the family she had at her assisted care facility at Mustang Creek in Allen, Texas. She touched the lives of all who were around her. She always had time to listen, had a shoulder to lean on and a beautiful smile on her face.
