OBITUARY
 
JERNIGAN

Lucy Jernigan, age 90, a resident of Hebron, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011.
She was born April 6, 1921 in Hebron, Texas to William Arthur Kelley and Edith Hannah Jones Kelley.

Lucy married Robert Lee Jernigan, who preceded her in death.

She was a life-long member of First Baptist Church in Hebron.

Lucy is survived by her son; Walter Lee Jernigan of Flippin, Arkansas; her daughters; Martha Mozelle Williams of Hartselle, Alabama and Anna Geraldine Milligan of Hebron; eight grandchildren, Melanie Jernigan Fleming, Brian Jernigan, Mike Williams, David Williams, Steve Williams, Andra Williams Barna, Dan Milligan and Cheryl Milligan Blankman; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jean Morris and a host of nieces, nephews and friends far and near.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Jimmy Robert Williams and Connie Ruth Milligan, sisters; Novella Dodd-Ford, Rachel Dozier and Lillian Sewell and brothers; W.A. Kelley, Garland Kelley and Marland Kelley.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Hebron. Brother Mike Williams, Pastor Bruce Scolfield and Army Chaplain Charles Barna officiating. Interment will follow at Furneaux Cemetery in Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.
